GAMMA88 Extends Sponsorship with AIM Autosport As a new company, GAMMA88 needed to gain awareness and AIM Autosport has been a key component in that strategy. At the same time, however, costs must be kept in check and, based upon available budget, sponsorship was limited to three select races. AIM is working to find sponsorship to fill out the remainder of the season, but has elected not to enter the Memorial Day Classic at Lime Rock Park and Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen at Watkins Glen International. In addition to exposure at tracks and in media coverage, GAMMA88 utilized their sponsorship to gain attention during a promotion at TA’s Richmond Travel Center in Alton, Va. and the race car was displayed at NASCAR’s Richmond Sprint Cup race. “This was a great experience and we look forward to being back for more races this year,” said Rich Simeone of GAMMA88. “As a relatively new company, we are doing what we can to pick this sponsorship up for future races.” “I’m extremely happy that GAMMA88 will return for three more races this year,” said Chief Engineer and AIM Autosport Principal, Ian Willis. “This reinforces that our program is an effective way for GAMMA88 to strengthen its brand and accelerate its growth in the fuel and oil supplement market. We’re confident that we can continue to deliver results with GAMMA88 and grow the program next year.” AIM Autosport’s next race in the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 will be at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., June 25–26.
